Hello,
A client has an App in S4 (Invoice Management) which when processing an invoice goes out of S4HANA. The Web Assistant appears to still be on, however its not possible to get into edit mode as the URL is different and it looks like the Web Assistant is now pointing to the SAP standard and not the client Enable Now Work Area. As we cant add in the EDIT parameter as the URL is different its not possible to get into edit mode to look.
Can you please advise if its possible to to edit in some way or switch of the Web Assistant on this App?
Thanks
David

Hi david748sps,
If it goes out of the S/4HANA, but you can still see the Web Assistant icon in the Launchpad, I would've opened the browser developer tools (F12 or Ctrl+Shift+i), moved to the Console tab and executed the command Help4.getShell()._params to examine the Web Assistant parameters applied. Also I would've checked the Sources tab in the developer console, so I could find the URL of the system where this "external" application is running from. Having the system URL and Web Assistant parameters would help me to:
1) Identify the external system
2) Tell the SAP basis team what WA parameters they need to implement in that external system.
Best, Anton

Thanks Anton,
To follow up we have the parameter set so Web Assistant comes on automatically.
Can I ask is it possible for an individual to add a parameter so that Web Assistant is off automatically for them?
Or,
Is it possible to switch off Web Assistant on a specific App?
Thanks
David
