Enable Now SCORM Export to custom LMS

We'd like to use trainings generated in the Enable Now Producer in another LMS system. The current SCORM implementation we're using relies on iframes.

We've noticed that the SCORM export from Enable Now Producer opens an additional popup/window which isn't possible within the context of an iframe.

In order for the SCORM export to be compatible with our implementation we would need a method of loading the application directly and not in the additionally opened window.

Is this something we can configure in the Enable Now export settings (e.g. defining to run in same windows / root of window)? We're currently use the export format "SCORM 2004, 4th edition".

Hi Thomas,

I'm not sure if this will help but the additional window that you mention may be caused by your Workarea settings. To check this:

1. Open Producer

2. Start editing the Resources > Adaptable Resources > Playback Settings object, if this is the one that you use to generate your SCORM content. If you have an alternate Playback Settings object then start editing that object

3. Double click the relevant Playback Settings object and click on the Book Reader section of settings

4. Open the New Window Properties area of settings and make sure that the Fullscreen field is turned off. This value will often open a new window to maximise the size

5. Repeat for the other content players, e.g. Demo Mode, and then save the changes

6. If you modified this value, regenerate the SCORM and try again
