Enable Now - Published FAQs not visible in our Portal

We have created some new FAQs under a new group folder and we have published all the individual FAQs and the group folder and we cannot see the new FAQs in our portal. Should we also publish the FAQ folder? We can see there is a published link under the Group folder 'Analysis for Office' but this has not flowed through to our specialist Portal on our intranet.

We have completed the following steps, we are new to using Enable Now and we appear to have missed a step. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Created individual FAQ’s under the new 'Analysis for Office' group folder
  • Created each FAQ by “editing” for the FAQ main folder, 'Analysis for Office' Group Folder and each individual FAQ
  • Uploaded by saved to the server and click “finish editing” and select Publish and click finish editing for each individual FAQ as well as the Analysis for Office Folder

It depends on how the users are accessing the FAQs. If they will be accessing via the (Published View) Start Link of your Analysis for Office Group (assuming the are directly underneath this Group) then yes, you just need to make sure the Analysis for Office Group and the FAQs (Text Units or Book Pages?) are all Published. If they are accessing via a higher-level in your Hierarchy (i.e. an 'Entry Point' to your overall Trainer) then you need every node from the Entry Point all the way down to the FAQs to be published as well.

One more possibility: If everything is Published but the FAQs still don't show, check out the Analysis for Office group again, then check it back in and make sure you select the Force New Version option. Sometimes this seems to work. You may need to do the same thing for all the FAQs as well (use the Tree Operations / Server Bulk Actions button).
