Enable now not displaying resources correctly

1,078

Wondering if anyone has struck this before, and what the solution may be.

When editing 'extended' content, the book page at the beginning (and end) of the simulations are not displaying correctly in SEN Producer.

Note: As per the image below, the content is visible in the preview (at the top), however is unable to be seen or edited in the WISIWYG Editor.

we have tried re-synchronizing the content, reinstalling SEN Producer, any advice appreciated.

Thank you

Clyde

Hi Clyde,

If the templates have been copied into the Workarea but some authors are not seeing the templates, I suspect that those authors have not downloaded the templates to their version of Producer. So, the authors with issues should:

1. Open Producer
2. Select Server Workarea > Check Out Objects
3. Select the folder structure and template objects
4. Click OK

If this doesn't work, try this:

1. Open Producer
2. Right click the folder containing the Simulation objects that are an issue and select Server Bulk Actions > Update All Objects from Server
3. Click OK to update all the Simulation and book page objects in the folder
4. If prompted, click Yes to fetch the content from the content server.

Hi Clyde,

The issue is likely to be that the book page templates used to create the book page that you have selected are not in your Workarea. If you have moved the content out of the Extended Workarea into another Workarea, please go back to the Extended Workarea, export the book page templates, and then import them into the new Workarea. The book pages templates for the most recent versions of the content are located in the folder structure shown in the image below:

Hi Shane,

I would say that this would be the cause, with the exception that it is only happening with some users (2/10)...

any further ideas?
