Probably just a lag between how it loads the various images onto the screen and renders them, and there may not be a lot you can do about that.
But if you are just trying to mask information (so the user does not see it) why don't you use the Anonymize feature and permanently remove it from the screenshot? (Or if the 'mask' is a specific image you need, edit the screenshot manually and paste it on.)
No matter how instantaneously the screenshot and an image on top of it are displayed, a use would still be able to click on the screenshot and Save Image, and then see the information you're trying to hide, so permanently editing the screenshot is probably a better option anyway.
