Hello everyone, My organisation is looking at Enable Now for our S4/HANA implementation. I would like know how much effort it is to implement. We are considering the cloud version. I wondered if anyone might share with me their experience and lessons learnt?

Hi Simon,
Dirk provides really sound advice and some things to certainly consider from a setup perspective. Here is a link from one of our customers that implemented SuccessFactors and the story of their implementation and go-live. While SuccessFactors and S/4 have different setups, it will give you a good idea of the types of things that you'll need to think about from an implementation, go-live and maintenance perspective so you can ensure you staff correctly to support the end user enablement component of your S/4 project.
Here's a link to a video that discusses some tips and tricks for using Web Assistant on S/4. Again, as Dirk mentioned there are differences in the setup depending on if you're implementing S/4 Cloud or S/4 on-prem.
Hope these help.
John

For actual implementation (to get it up and running), I would allow 10+ days, working with a knowledgeable SAP implementation person, but there's a few things that can affect that - is your S/4 system cloud or on prem, do you have a Web Dispatcher in place already, do you have an IAS set up for SSO, do you want to use/extend the SAP standard content, etc..
Getting it set up is the hard part (esp. SSO); learning how to use it effectively is the next biggest part; actually building the help content is easy once you know what you're doing - but again, there's additional factors: do you want to provide just help tiles / guided tours, or do you want to link in training content (such as simulations, courseware, etc.).
I'd suggest you get in touch with the SAP Sales team to scope it out with you. HTH.
