Enable Now Enablement Assistant/ Desktop app recorder extension not working properly

Hello,

we created a package so that users can install the SAP Enable Now Launcher in their machine.

Some users already have the "Enablement Assistant" extension, activated by the organization within Edge some others not.

Issues:

For the ones that already have the EA extension, the new package is not prompting them to turn on the new browser extension (SAP Enable Now Desktop application recorder),

For the ones that it is the first installation, the new package is not activating the new extension (SAP Enable Now Desktop application recorder).

Have you ever experience this issue? Do you have any suggestions?

Hi AnnaGiorgia,

I know that there are new versions of the Enable Now extensions that were released with the 2305 (May) release. You can find details of the new extensions on P 9 in the What's New documentation located at Enable Now documentation.

You should also make sure that the Install Google Chrome Extension setting is turned on in Administration > Server Settings > General > Add-Ons section of the Manager settings, although the notes indicate that this is for Google Chrome only and I notice that you are using Edge.
