Enable Now Audio Editor Time markers

Is there a way to control the displayed time markers at the bottom of the Audio Editor. Open it once, it looks like by time, the next time I open it look like by frame. I don't see any consistency to what is being displayed.

Interesting; never seen it by anything other than seconds. I'd open an incident.

I think it is always by time, but it will squash it all within the Sound Editor window, so the scale is inconsistent. Personally I use Audacity (for recording and/or just checking timing) as that provides the exact time (to .001 of a second, if necessary) for wherever you click.
