Is there a way to export alt text?

Hi,

For which use do you need to export it?

For an image you can instead use the "Tooltip" Element in the section "Link" (even if you do not link anything with it). This would be exported for the translation file (Tools --> Localisation --> Export Translation file).

What do you mean by alt text? For images? Not that I know of.

Yes, the text that pops up when you hover your mouse over it, or is ready by a screen reader

Then no, sorry. It's stored in the bowels of the simulation, and you'd find it in the code if you exported the Book Page, but there's no easy way to see it. (And for what it's worth, Book Pages aren't really geared up for printing anyway, so there's on way of getting into a printable form.) Interestingly, it isn't included in the Translation file, either, which does seem like a limitation (although I don't know that would help you anyway).
