Issue:

• EN Package Responsiveness Issue on handheld devices when embedded in MadCap Flare: Hi, looking for a solution to this issue. As seen in the screenshot below, we are working on embedding Enable Now simulations in a tool called MadCap Flare. The output looks fine on laptops as seen in the screenshot; however, it is not responsive and completely unusable in handheld devices. Please let us know if you have a solution to make this embed responsive for handheld devices. Thanks!

If by 'responsive' you mean it automatically resizes/reorganizes content so that it still displays OK on different display formats (such as smaller screens on a mobile device) then the answer is: unfortunately not. (And not even 'native' SAP Enable Now, outside of Madcap Flare.) SAP Enable Now can resize the 'page' (whether this is a Book Page or a simulation screenshot) to fit the screen, but it will not 'dynamically adjust / flow' content (and for a simulation I don't know how it could, as the screen image is always fixed).

Responsive Book Pages is one of the most commonly-requested features, and if you really want it, you can go and vote up the Customer Improvement Request here. It is currently showing as "Planned (Long Term)".

I am not aware what MadCap Flare is and on which Handhelds exactly you are facing issues. I just understand that you are take the SEN content and put it into MadCap Flare. Did you checked if the content will be works fine without putting it into MadCap Flare and access it directly with the Handheld devices?

I just want to make sure that the issue is not with MadCap Flare.
