employee history import giving error

In an EC integrated variable pay template when we are using import employee history using employee central the job is failing. When checked in provisioning getting below error.

Full exception:com.successfactors.jobscheduler.ScheduledJobExecutionException: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Hris element type must be defined.
at com.successfactors.jobscheduler.jobimpl.SimpleJob.execute(SimpleJob.java:518)

We need a screenshot of Plan Setup > EC Settings page as well.

It's probably a misunderstanding on your end on how the rules work in Variable Pay.

We have corrected the eligibility rule & it worked. Now the job is running but no records are getting imported.

This looks like it is happening when it is processing the eligibility for an employee. Can you provide a screenshot of the eligibility rule used for employee history extraction?

It's most likely an issue with a field you mapped in the Employee History table, go ahead and look at all the instructions from the above blog and follow step by step troubleshooting technique (#4 - Remove the mapping to EC fields for our Employee History columns until the job is working again then add them back one by one to single out the problematic mapping (see recording) .)

Your eligibility rule must have issues then.

Can you share a screenshot of :

Plan Setup > Plan Setup

Plan Setup > EC settings (+ a screenshot of each rule defined at the bottom, click on them take a screenshot and share here).
