Employee History data File is not fetching records.

HI team,

We are having two separate template for Comp and Var pay. Issue whenever annual increments are happening via Comp templates agianst employee record then employee history file generated in Var pay template is not pulling proper dates

Example:- hire date/start date before annual increment was coming as 01.01.2016 in Employee History Data file

After annual increments hire start date is changed to 01.04.2022 ( date of annual review) and no record exist before this date (till31.03.2022)

Any suggestions!

In my view there is a configuration issue with your main record rule and that is not simple to fix on a chat like this due to the complexity of Variable Pay. You may want to get a few hours of professional services to help you.

I did checked and found below one note useful related to this issue.

Since our VP template was launched for 2023 and Increments related to employees happened for 2022 . Hence EHD file picks the job information to nearest record.

Therefore in this case EHD wont pick all records (hire , increment records etc) and will fetch only nearest one record

If increment is happening for 2023 then all records would be pulled together

My employee history data file rule is very simple to pull all active records. There is no global eligibility rule as such

Issue if changing employees data using same event type in EC then employee histiry data files , records are correctly displayed

Only if annual increment has happened through compensation template then for those sets of employee only increment date is taking as start date in EHD file

Do you have any thoughts!
