We have a scenario which is proving to be quite challenging - I hope I'm at the right place to ask the question.
We have a scenario where we need to calculate a shift allowance based on a work schedule change. The shift allowance is then populated as a recurring Pay Component.
The pay component value is determined as follows:
Pay Component A = Number of days of shift X Daily rate of pay (from monthly basic salary).
If the rule is build on PayComponent recurring the calculation will only be done once when compensation is saved. Rule logic is only triggered on save of Pay Components, and will not regard the change in shift pattern.
Alternatively, if the business rule is built on Job Info, Pay component value cannot be set successfully.
Is there a way to achieve this logic? I have exhausted all available avenues.
