Employee Central- Field deletion on Manage Configuration UI not reflecting.

We got a situation wherein a deleted custom field on position continues to show up in the position screen (manage position). The field was first deleted from the position using 'Configure Object Definition' and subsequently through 'Manage Configuration UI'. Having said that, the deleted field continues to show up on the Config UI export file (ConfigUIAsJSON). I tend to think the UI is not getting refreshed. Has anyone faced similar issues?

The challenge here is to identify the source and clear the field from the position UI.

Unfortunately, those things tend to bug out at times.
Personally, I've often chosen to delete them as they've appeared to be beyond restoring.

You should have a delete button in manage configuration UI (normally). Keep in mind that if you directly assign this to the object as well, you may need to refill that on the object later as well.

Thanks again Jasper. I found this to be a bug as the issue got sorted out by itself.

In my case, I was assuming that field got deleted as it did not show up in the manage config UI. But for some reason, it never got deleted. After a day the field start showing up in the UI.
