Hi I am having an issue when mass importing Employee Time.
Location: 'Import & Export data' > 'Import' > select generic object 'Employee Time'
I have a total of 4800 rows of data to import, however when validating 721 employees fail. when looking at the reason all I am given is '1. The employee time of user #### cannot be updated because of an error in another record.'
However there is no indication as to which record is causing the issue.
Is there a way of tracking the original record causing the error?
Thanks
Tom

Dear comex_,
Thank you for your post/question.
The issue is supposed to be related to the last record of the user/employee who stopped the validation/load. Anyway, I would recommend you to take a look on the import limitations and restrictions chapter (LINK) and check if all your file load is following it.
Thank you.

Hi Thomas,
There is no standard answer to see what the errors are and will need some trial and error.
Some things to check
1. Create absences only for approved ones (uploading as pending will not trigger workflow)
2. Create in multple sets to that there are not many errors. Example upload based on absence type, all vacation.
3. Maintain data only for needed columns. See the example below.

Sanjay
