Email notification when manager initiates Onboarding and completes the Review New hire step

Hi All,

Is there any custom solution to trigger email notification with the fields below:

The email to be triggered when manager initiates Onboarding and also when the manager completed the Review New Hire Step in ONB.

Given Name
Surname
Preferred Name
Position Title
Department
Manager Name

Any advice on this please.

Scenarios

For scenario 1 (initiate onboarding trigger) you may need to create your own trigger and email category. You can follow KBA 3457194 - Custom Rehire Verification Notification Configuration - Onboarding, but change the Process Task Type to 'Review New Hire Data'. 

For scenario 2 (complete RNHD step), you can copy the standard External User Welcome Message Template'. Do not deactivate the original when requested and rework the copy to your requirement. This will always trigger when PDC triggers (RNHD completion).

Tokens:

If the desired tokens are not available, you can create your own - refer to this community blog.

Be aware that custom tokens may not work when you do not use 'Provide Additional Data' when you manually initiate onboarding as the relevant position details will not be available for the system to resolve the tokens.
