As part of Data Governance, a client would like to restrict the EFFECTIVE START DATE for effective dated objects i.e. jobinfo and addresses to the 1st day of a Pay Period.
1) Is Event Date = Effective Start Date?
I have tried creating a Business Rule on JobInfoModel and JobInfo...thinking Event Date is not equal to Effective Start Date
2) How to expose the field EFFECTIVE START DATE so that a rule can be tagged to it?
3) the client does not want to maintain the PAY CALENDAR, is there an alternative? This is a biweekly payroll i.e. the first effective start date would be 11/6/16 but the next available date is 11/20.
