one of my customer wants to deactivate Onb 1.0 for one of the country and they would like to know about the effect on licensing.

Hi Rajani,

If ONB, or any other module is deactivated, fully or partially, that is currently contracted in the broader SAP SuccessFactors Cloud Contract, then the user licenses will remain the same. You can turn off their access in role-based privileges. If the Customer is looking to amend their contract, then that can only be done at the time of renewal with this particular change.

If the customer is looking to eliminate these licenses from the contract, then the full contract will need to be opened and re-negotiated with the help of the SAP SuccessFactors Account Executive. Please be aware that if the contract is re-negotiated, then likely the newest pricing model will be used, so there would probably be an overall increase.
