ECP: Payroll Control Centre- Create Test Payroll Step- Running forever

Hi Team,

When I simulate payroll for a particular month using PC00_m99_calc in the SAP system, I could see the payroll log and the results being shown. There are both successful and unsuccessful records

However, when I am trying to run the payroll using the process for the same month in EC Payroll control center, the Create Test payroll data step is running forever. That is it is in-progress state, neither reading any programs nor getting completed.

This process step is with the template: PYP_V2_RUN_PAYROLL_TEST.

I have already generated the process steps with Variants and programs suitably in SAP system. The issue is only with EC PCC.

Is there a way to see if this step is really running or stuck with some issues and if yes, how could we see the issue for the Payroll control centre processess.

Hi Hari,

Can you please check the daemon jobs are running successfully in SM37. Please check the recurrence of daemon jobs in PYC_ADM_TRANSACTION.

Thanks for your response.

I noticed that the Daemon jobs are canceled for my User.This could be because my User doesn't have permissions to run it.

Do you have an idea about the Permission role/Object that I need to add for my user to run Daemon jobs. Should I add permissions in SAP end or Employee central end.
