ECC Payroll to ECP Migration

Hi all,

  Could you please share your experience on ECC Payroll to ECP Migration. Let us know how you migrated objects from ECC Payroll to SF ECP, how are the custom objects identified that needs to be migrated.

Hey - Based on my experience with lift and shift, you have couple of options

- Either bundle the configuration in WB & Cust TR - Export and Import into ECP

- Leverage third party tools (eg. Spinifex, Nexus) to assist

Both options will have pros and cons, you must carefully review the implicit enhancements in ECC and find alternatives as they are no longer supported in ECP. It's also important to leverage the latest UX features in ECP by activating PCC and optimize the current processes. Lift and Shift is not for short term, so it's important you leverage best practices, enhance UX and optimize the system for future scalability.
