eCATT support at SAP Enable Now (Test & Demo Version)

do you know please if the Test & Demo Version of SAP Enable Now (cloud) supports the generation of eCATT file (eCATT.xml)? I did all the necessary settings for it, but it doesn´t work.

Hi Peter,

the eCATT files are only generated for projects which contain content recorded in SAP GUI. This means that the eCATT.js file will not be generated for non SAP applications. This makes sense because the eCATT files are for import into SAP GUI only.

Maybe this is the reason for your issue?

Hi Michael, thanks for your recommendation. I did it like you discribed and expected the eCATT file in the simulation project. I hasn´t been generated. My concern is if this behavior has something with the Test & Demo version of SEN, or just some bug.

Hi Peter,

I think you have to activate this feature first before you do a recording. (Settings/Producer/Save/ Standard)

After you have saved the recording you should be able to see in your simulation project the eCATT file.

If you then make a right click on the top project name in this example "SU01 - en-US", you can select "Open Folder".

There you should find the generated eCATT.xml file.
