EC Pension Payout

Is it mandatory to have EC Payroll implemented for Pension Payout to work successfully? OR Is there a way we can configure Pension payout in Employee central for active and inactive employees while maintaining payroll in SAP ECC?

Hi Neeraj,

I did look at this KBA but unfortunately it does not answer my question. It gives the details of setting up Pension payout but does not mention how EC Payroll effects its implementation. I want to know if Pension payout would work seamlessly without having EC Payroll.
