EC-ECP using SAP OnPRem system

Hello experts!

Would you know whether is possible to enable ECP (EC-ECP) using a non-ECP environment (meaning a SAP onPrem that's not hosted in a SAP data center). Or the payroll engine (SAP payroll system) should be hosted by SAP?

I don't think it is possible. If at all you have to connect OnPrem payroll system to EC, you can do that, there are various integration methods available like HCI and Dell Boomi. ECP will be a different box all together and with have PTP integration with EC.
