Hi,
I built an EC Alert for when an Intern changes jobs to anything else besides the Intern job code. This is working for a job change from Intern. However, whenever any other job information record is added after the Intern job change record, it is also re-triggering the alert again. This is not what I am looking for as the job code has not changed again. I thought maybe I needed logic to compare the previous end date to the current start date like how this is used in change reporting. However, a KB for EC Alerts says to never use the DateAdd in the If statement. Here is the business rule:
Has anyone been successful in creating an EC Alert for a change in Job Info like this scenario? What do I have incorrect here? I am new to EC Alerts and any help is appreciated. Thank you,
