EC Alert notification triggered based on the previous data, not on the current data.

Hello All,

We hired a contract employee (not CWK) on Jan 1st 2023, the contract end date of this employee was on May 31st 2024, then system should send the alert notification 30 days before to the contract end date, which means on May 1st 2024.

After 6 months of service from the hire date, this employee promoted as a permanent employee with effective from July 1st 2023, and we have created an effective dated record in the job information and removed the date from the contract end date field.

As these changes were done on July 1st 2023, our expectation is that as there is no date maintained in Contract End Date field system will not send any alert notification on May 1st, 2024.

But system has triggered the alert notification on May 1st, 2024. 

Please let me know is this the expected behaviour, or am I missing anything in the configuration? below is the business rule we have in the system.
