Hi,

We want to implement E-Recruting and ESS is not in scope but the MSS is in scope. How can a internal posting can be viewed and applied by the internal employees.

Thanks in advance

Regards,

Suchitha.

You can create interest groups and send the internal postings to the employees in those interest groups.

Hello Suchitha,

internal candidates only have to log on to the e-recruiting system to apply. They do not have to register in the e-recruiting meaning of the word. Internal candidates always exist in the system as they are created automatically via hr integration on integrated landscapes or via ALE on standalone systems.

Hello Suchitha,

using ESS is not necessary for using E-Recruiting.

If you use the BSP frontend for internal candidates you just have to put the link to the internal candidate startpage anywhere into youur intranet (to get the url just run rcf_generate_urls repot an pick it out of the list). The employees can click it, log in and manage their application there.

For the WebDynpro frontend it is similar. You also have to put the link to the startpage anywhere, you can directly copy the link from the WebDynpro application in SE809. In addition there is an unregistered employee job search you can include into your intranet where employees can search for positions w/o logging in until actually applying.

Thanks Roman.

On a EHP5 , seperate instance for EREC and ECC-HCM install, we are not planning to use ESS for internal candidates.

From the company website, we wll ask both internal and external candidates to apply for open positions. At the time of data transfer, we will have the SSN captured- meaning SSN will be available into PA48. This should allow us to differentiate between internal and external candidates. The only ALE from HCM to EREC will be for the organisational data which will enable the creation of the requisition, no employee related data will be ALE'd (this is due to some company policy, not SAP functionality).

Would this be a feasible solution? Please let me know if I am not making myself clear on the requirements.

As always, thanks for your input.

Regards,

Sunil
