Hi,
Can you please share the elaborate process and config procedure whereby Employee Referral functionality is provided via ESS.For this particular implementation we also have SAP E-Recruitment being implemented.Issue is to provide Internal employees a provision to refer candidates. Here also there are two cases. One in which internal employee has candidates resume and other is when internal employee doesnt have the candidates resume. In first case internal employee is needed to fill all the candidates data while in other case a link "Tell a friend" needs to be clicked by internal employee thereby to intimate the candidate to complete the registration process.
Please share the process and configuration for the same in SAP ECC 6.0
Request clarification before answering.

Thanks Sally.
Can you share the detailed configuration whereby I can maintain EMPLOYEE REFERRAL via ESS in integration with SAP E-recruitment.
Here I need to consider both the cases where the employee has an available resume and also where the employee doesnt have the candidates resume.
In case the same query has already been answered by some other thread then please share the link to that.
Lastly is this a simple or complex customization scenario. Should we wait for EHP's so that SAP can cater to it by default. What do u advice.
Hi,
although I already met several people who say say something else - there is no employee referral function in ESS.
The Tell-A-Friend function is not active in the internal candidates screens. This can easily be checked in component HRRCF_C_SEARCH_UI views VW_EMP_HITLIST and VW_UNREGEMP_HITLIST. Both do not include a Tell-A-Friend button. Furthermore it would only be possible to refer postings which are published internal and external at the same time as the hitlists for internal candidate only include internal published postings but the referral would require an external publication. Theoretical an employee could use the Tell-A-Friend function on the external views but you would lose the link to the employee information so there would be no possibility for identifying the referral.
The application source solution covers the possibility that an external candidate enters the information of an employee as source. But there is only a free text field to enter the employee information so technical evaluation is not possible.
All other scenarios of employee referral need customer development.
Kind regards
Roman

Hi Ashwani
Yes you have it exactly right, internal candidate can either refer via "tell a friend" or else you can customize that external candidates choose "employee referral" as an application source... however one problems is that there is no reference to personnel number or else by employee referral, as thepersonnel number is not a mandatory field in the standard solution - therefore... If the personnel number is blank when Employee Referral is selected as the application source, the application is saved successfully and it returns personnel number equals to 00000000.
Unfortunately this field is not mandatory in the standard and it is only possible to make it mandatory by a modification.
You need to be looking at customizing : Employee Referral PAOC_RCF_UI/EMPLOYEE_REFERRAL_TEXT and ensuring this is maintained in the application source tables V_T77RCF_APPLSTY and V_T77RCF_APPLSRC.
Hope it helps.
Sally
