Hi Cheng,

Yes it is very much possible to transfer all the candidate profile data (E-Rec Infotypes) to HR Master data provided your XI or RFC connection (depending on your Technical Landscape) is accordingly done.

If you could provide me more information about Technical Landscape, it would help me to understand and provide you more information.

i.e. Single instance or two different instance scenario.

Hi Rajesh,

My query is related to this. I have two different instances in my scenario and I want to be able to use the XI interface to hire/ transfer employees from e-Recruiting v6.0 back into HR so that it triggers a org reassignment, is this possible? I know that this used to be possible with e-Recruiting v 3.0 using PA48.

Thanks

Hi Tom,

Considering your scenario that it is on two different instances, you will require RFC connection which will take care of data transfer.

XI is used when you are on same instance and not on different instances.

since RFC connection will be used you will hire or transfer data using PA48.

So you need to set up your RFC connections for the same.

If you have some more query or this doesnt suffice please feel free to contact.

Hi Rajesh,

The set up here is not very typical. We are using a standalone instance, however they do want to have integration. We are using the XI interface to link between the e-Rec instance and the ECC instance. So far we have been able to hire new employees, however, from all the documentation it appears that we cannot trigger a org reassignment via XI, is this correct?

I know that via the RFC pa48 this is possible.

Thanks

Hi Tom,

Could you please elaborate on "trigger a org reassignment" ?

so as to understand your requirement clearly.

Hi Rajesh,

What I mean is that when the Candidate (Internal Employee) has successfully been offered a job and teh "hire" activity has been selcted in e-Recruiting, I want that this should send their data back to ECC and instead of trying to carry out a hire activity it should try and do an organisational reassignment to put the employee in their new position in the org structure.

Thanks,

Tom

Hi Tom,

Ya now its bit clear what is your requirement.

1) First check if you have mentioned the position while making the requisition.

2) if not then system wont do Org. Assignment on its own. it will ask you the position while making the data transfer.

3) if yes then it will happen automatically while data transfer provided XI configuration is done accordingly (field to field mapping).

so please check if above 3 points anything is missing.

I hope that should solve your problem.

Thanks

Rajesh

Hi Tom,

To be able to perform the org re-assignment check the following Customizing activities for HR Administrative Services as described in Configuration of Forms/Processes ® Sample Processes for HCM Processes and Forms.

To be able to send the data using the XI interface, Customizing activities for HR Administrative Services as described in Configuration of Forms/Processes ® XI Integration.

Hi Rajesh,

Similar to Cheng I am interested in being able to transfer E-Recruiting profile data over to our HR system upon Data Transfer activity. However, I am unfamiliar with how to do this using an RFC connection. At this time we are specifically looking to transfer Educational profile information over to IT0022.

We are using E-Recruiting 3.0 SP15. However, we will soon be moving to 6.0. E-Recruiting is on a seprate system than our SAP HR system. Any information that you could provide on how I may be able to accomplish this would be great!

Thanks,

Ryan

Hi Mona,

Check table: VV_T588C_G_AL0 whether the configuration is as per the user specific.

Let me know if this works for you.

Hi Rajesh,

I am implementing eRC 6.0 SP9 on separate instances. We are using RFC to transfer to HR. I get the message "The applicant data was successfully transferred to the HR system" in eRC, but when I run PA48 in ECC system (HR), I get the message "No entry in T752F".

I cannot find T752F in SM30, nor the table you reference VV_T588C_G_AL0. Do you have a suggestion why PA48 is not working?

Samantha.

Hi Samantha,

I got your problem..but still need some more info..

The message you are getting on E-Rec is correct "The applicant data was successfully transferred to the HR system" coz E-Rec has released the data.

What u need to check is your RFC connection is okay or not.

try thru Transaction SM59, check your ABAP connection and test the relevant RFC Connection.

do check this and try if it works, then you should see your data in PA48.

Do reply.

Hi Rajesh,

I replied to your question a few days ago but don't see my response here so perhaps you didn't see it?

I have checked the RFC connection and it is working.

Hi Rajesh,

I was searching for how to transfer additional data of a candidate who has become an employee and get hired like all his attachments i.e. Resume, Certificates, etc. or any other document attached to his/her profile? We have single instance of E-recruitment, would you please assist on this query?

Thanks

Hello Syed,

Did you get the answer of this question?

Hello Amit,

if you are using the standard data transfer via RFC from eRec to ECC you can additionally transfer the qualifications of the candidate in standard. But this is not very common as you usually have a much smaller qualification catalog for eRec and most customers require an additonal verification of skills before they are put into the employee records.

Other data would require a modification. I have seen this in one or two projects but the most discussed transfer of education and work experience fails as the data model of eRec infotypes 5103 / 5104 and PA infotypes 0022 / 0023 are completely different.

Transfering attachment data would first require a place to store the document data. So you would need something like the electronic personal file in place.

With EHP 5 SAP deliered a new business function called New Hire Intergration 1 based on HCMP&F (HCM_HIRE_INT_CI_1). As you can basically do whatever you want in a HCM Processes and Forms scenario it should allow to implement a lot of possible custonmer requirements, at least if you get the data model and storge issues solved. Unfortunately I have not seen it used in production yet and the infrastructure invest for HCMP&F is quite high if you not already have it in place for other stuff.

Kind regards

Roman
