Hi,
In E-recruiting, it is possible that recruiter creates an application on behalf of the external candidate. But after creation, the candidate status is set to "blocked". Since the candidate has already made his declaration on the hardcopy, is it possible that the recruiter set the status of that candidate to "released" on behalf?
I do not see any function doing so and I am on EHP5.0.
Thanks and Regards,

Hi,
this is possible by creating a status change activity for the candidate.
If you want to set this up from the scratch you need the following steps:
Once this is done you can open the candidate profile as a recruiter e.g. by clicking the candidate name in the list of candidacies for the requisition. In the profile you switch to the activities tab. On the tab you can change to "TRM activities" where you can create your activites to lock or release the candidate profile.
Kind regards
Roman

Hello Roman,
I followed the steps mentioned above. However, as we have created Application for external candidates, when I reach step " Assign HR Object Types to Activity Types" to assign the activities created to object type, which you have specified as NA, if I choose this object type, I don't get the activity which I created for releasing profile. If I change the object type to ND, activity comes up. However, in the node - Assign a Status to Status-Changing Activity Types, there I get different status which is for ND object type - Draft, In process, Rejected, To be hired, Withdrawn. So, there is no status for Releasing profile.
Can you guide what am I missing?

Hi Waiyeong
Can you please share, how did you manage to release the candidate profile. Reason being, I am also facing the same problem. I did configure, all the required steps but activity is not appearing under specific process when I click on the requisition -> candidate -> acitivities. We are on EhP5.
