E-Recruiting - Mass Creation of External

Hi,

We need to move the External Candidate to E-Recruiting from Legacy system. Iu2019m looking into below methods to create interface for Mass creation. If anybody done this before, I just need the high level logic to create this interface. For internal Candidate created by ALE, I just need make the changes.

Can you please correct me if Iu2019m wrong?

CL_HRRCF_CANDIDATE=>CREATE u2013 This is best one to use it (It is creating Central Person and Candidate).

What is the significance of CL_HRRCF_CANDIDATE_ADMIN_BL=>CREATE_USER?

For internal candidate, we need to pass personnel number, should we generate ourselves?

Also I need to create a log on user id and pass word reset to u2018XXXXXXXu2019? How should I reset the pass word?

Iu2019ll keep looking into the solution, if I get Iu2019ll update here. Thank you for reading this and I appreciate your time and help.

i used CL_HRRCF_CANDIDATE=>CREATE to create external Candidate.

Hi Naddy,

Were to are getting ready to do a data migration from our old legacy system (Personic) to E-Recruiting 6.0.

In addition to mapping the candidate data (NA) we are also looking into mapping requisition data (NB), candidacy data (NE) and application data (ND).

We had originally looked at using Castiron to perform the data transfer, but as this would likely be more difficult to do just for a one time transfer we are considering just witting out own BDC's instead.

Have you been successful in creating any of these object types and their respective relationships to E-Recruiting? What challenges did you face?

We are successful. I had to write conversion programs. i do not know about castiron. You won't be able to write any BDC programs as there are no backend Transactions.

there are 2 programs available to create internal candidates, depending on the setup (integrated e-Recruiting or standalone). It's part of the customizing, check the SPRO.

They probably mean that you can choose your own password with 'XXXXXXX'...
