Hi

I am running HRALXSYNC and the output is showing red icon against the internal candidate. The RED icon is not disappearing even after repair. The icon becoming green only when I maintain e-mail ids for the candidates (IT105). Unfortunately some of our employee’s doesn’t posses email ids. Is it possible to repair with out e-mail ids please let me know?

Hello Robin,

No it is not possible to repair without email id, Employee should have email id maintained as for E-Rec corrospondance it is required very much. Otherwise in the E-Rec application you will get errors or problems while employees would login into the system.

You should have the email id maintained.

For external candidates we will make it madatory. Do you mean it is must for internal candidate.If it is yes, It will be a show stopper for us. Please advise.

Hi Robin,

Yes, email id should be maintained for both internal as well as for external candidates, For internal employees they can maintain the same in IT0105 Subtype 10. Or HR Administrator can make some dummy email records for those employees.

Hi Robin!

Email is the unique identifier in e-Recruiting.
The module perform checks very often on the email of the candidate, recruiter, admin etc when using the functionality of eRec.

A lot of functionality is build upon the use of email - all correspondance: Invitations, confirmations, requests, questionnaires etc, sending a application will also not work due to the requirement of having an email. So you will run into a lot of problems.

So it is absolutely a must for users of e-Recruiting!

It comes back to infotype 105 subtype 001 being mandatory for the creation of BP (Business Partners), which is then essential for the CP and NAs.
