Hi Experts,
Currently our e-recruiting system makes use of the 'Password Forgotten' functionality. Unfortunately, when a user uses this it doesn't send the new password to the user. Furthermore, the user can still log-on using his/her old password.
This is the content of the email being sent:
We have already activated this service: /sap/bc/erecruiting/password
And attached it to the 'Password Forgotten' field of the external candidate service in SICF.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

this is often a problem that there is a parameter missing in the smartform. Did you copy the standard one to a Z one? Than check, I think the missing parameter is something with THEAD. Compare with a different smartform that works. Also check SLG1 and ST22 transaction for errors

Hi,
Thanks for all of your help. I was able to resolve the issue by editing the entry in the V77RCF_ACT2FORM table.
The original form listed in the table was HRRCF_CS_EXA_NEW_PASSWORD. I changed it to HRRCF_CS_IT_EXA_NEW_PASSWORD.

Hi John,
Did you check your configurations in table V77RCF_ACT2FORM regarding activity 0142 and smartform HRRCF_CS_IT_EXA_NEW_PASSWORD ?
Check if you have assigned this smartform to the activity 0142.
Use copy of this from and assign it to activity.
And check if you have assigned the service user when you activate the service default_host/sap/bc/erecruiting/password in SICF.
Hope this will help.
