E-Recruiting error: Activity not permitted for 1 of 1 candidate

Hello,

We are attempting to perform the Correspondence: Rejection activity for a candidate and receiving the error message "Activity not permitted for 1 of 1 candidate".  There were a couple other candidates that we were able to use the activity just fine, but the system isn't allow us to do it for this individual.  I really have no idea what the problem is since all the other activities are working for him.  I could perform a simple Rejection activity, but the Correspondence ability is unavailable.

Any ideas?

I was actually able to figure this one out.  The candidate was sent a request by the recruiter to fill out the application, but never did.  The reason the error occurred, was because you cannot perform the Correspondence: Rejection activity if there isn't an application to reject. It would be nice to know that up front, but I determine there wasn't a ND record (application) for the candidate.

I advised the recruiter perform a simple rejection activity and the matter was resolved.

I guess that the candidate doesn't have an email assigned and no address either (used to print if the email is not possible)
