E-recruiting: activities for candidacy and application

Hi,

We are working with EHP4 for E-recruiting, and activities have to be assigned to the HR objects ND and NE. Do they have to be equal, I mean, do we have to have the same activity for the application and for the candidacy? What are the consequences when we do not have the same activities available for the 2 types of assignment?

Hi Ruth,

You can assign any activity to ND. If you are in EHP4, the candidate assignment screen will show both activities assigned to ND also NE. So there is no consequences of having activities based on ND alone.  But you will be able to create ND activities only for the candidates who have 'Application' object. If you have assigned the candidate to a requisition, you cannot use ND based activities. This is the main difference between NE and ND activities.
