E-Rec: Unable to logon after registration

Hello Experts,

We are on EhP5. I am able to successfully register as external candidate (link - /sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/hrrcf_a_candidate_registration?sap-language=EN&sap-client=100) however, not able to login back using the same password which I used at the time of registration.

Also, I see that there are entries in USR02 table along with a password for the user (user 46412C6F021 and password 9F156EFF0DADF828). Alias is the las name which I entered while registration. None of the passwords work. I get following message - Client, name, or password is not correct; log on again

Can any one help?

Hi,

external candidates log on to the system by using their user alias instead of their actual user name. So first of all be sure to use the alias.

In a second step check the change history of the user. You find it for example in the menu of SU01. I have seen cases in which the password was changed after the creation of the user by a buggy workflow.

If the user change history is not showing any issue run the application with activated authorization trace for the service user of the ICF service. Check if ther is any authorization issue in the user creation which prevents setting the chosen password.

Thanks Roman/Deepak, I was able to login using Alias.

Roman, I have posted another query. I would request you to kindly take a look at the problem I am experiencing. When I click on Candidate profile, I get internal errors with short dumps.

Inside the URL you have  "&sap-client=100" replace it with "?sap-client=100" and then check, candidate is able to get in.
