E-Rec: External Candidate Complete Registration

Hello Team,

After registration using webdynpro application hrrcf_a_candidate_registration, an external candidate is able to register and I receive the following note:

Thank you for your interest in our company.

You will soon receive an e-mail from us enabling you to confirm your e-mail address and thus complete your registration.In this way, you can access your personal career pages in our company where you can then edit your profile and explore your career opportunities.

Mails have not been configured so there are no entries in SOST. Looking at the new functionality provided by EhP5, Recruiter has following options in Dashboard:

TRM Talent Groups (0)My Planned TRM Activities (0)New Registered Candidates (0)Open Registrations (0)

  If I understand correctly, "open registrations" tab should list all the candidates who have been sent the notifications after registration and to complete registration they have to click on the link in the mail. I do not see any entry in Open Registration link for recruiter. Am I missing some config?

  My objective is to complete the canddiate registration so that I may assign candidates to requisitions.

  Please help and guide.

Hi,

Have you pressed the update button in POWL list?
It is located in the lower right corner.

Also check that there is an entry in HRP5102 in field VERIFICATION, it should either be 1 or 2. If there is nothing, that means that the candidate is confirmed. But if you did not confirm any of the candidates, then it can also be an indication that there is an error in the system.

Hello Christain,

There is entry in the HRP5102 table where verification field contains value 1. Even if I change the entry to 0 I am not able to complete the external  candidate registration.

Please guide if there is any other way without going to the link in the mail if we can complete the registration.

Hi,

You dont need to change the value. The value is changed when registration is completed, so when a candidate has not yet completed the registration it will show an 1 or 2.
If the candidate has confirmed his/hers email, it will show nothing or 0.

So the system is updating the table fine, it is indicating that the candidate has not yet confirmed the email.

Can you confirm you pressed the update button in the dashboard? And then check if there is any entries in the dashboard.

Hello Christian,

I see these links in the dashboard : Open in new window, Refresh, Personalize, Remove from Pasge & Details.

There is no link or button which is for "Update". Am I missing something?

Hello Christian,

How could I be soo stupid...I just observed the refresh link at the bottom right of the page to refresh. Now I can see the entries of un-verified candidates.

hi all,

After registering process for an external candidate am not able to send the the confirmation mail  to this external candidate..

and i have checked below t-code and tables:

1) while registering  for this external candidate  user will automatically get created in su01 with out filling any communication data  i.e e-mail address.

2) table hrp5102 will have the status  1  for this external candidate.

3) table hrp1001 will have the object CP , US and  NA data is filled for this external candidate

4) table adr6 will hold this external candidate  e-mail address . but it is not filling in SU01 user  communication data E-MAIL ADDRESS....

ply guide me in solving, to send an confirmation mail  to external candidate..

For the fist post:- Did you  refresh the POWL Query 'Open registrations'? Can you check in the table HRP5102 how many candidates have 'Verification' field value-> 0?

For Sanjay's Question : Confirmation mail is triggered via workflow WS51900018. Check whether you made the event linkage in t-code SWETYPV.
