E-mail to candidate through custom activity..

Hi Experts...

I have created one custom activity to send letter to candidate. We are sending letter in PDF form which is sent to candidate correctly but, the text of PDF is getting copied as mail body.

Plz help.... how to control ths?????

This is default behaviour. If you do not want this you have to go to IMG => Assignment of Cover Letters to Letter Templates.

Here you can define the output of the email

Hi Andy,

I have created custom cover letter as ZHRRCF_CS_COV_APPL_INVITATION by coping standard one and the assigned it against the custom form which is being sent to candidate in attachment as u mentioned.

Still the same text is coming.

Is there any other step after it.

Normally not. Did you activate everything? Made sure you didn't make any errors in config?

All your custom forms have to be active off course. And in customizing you have to make sure that there are no typo's...

Plz help. I am still unable to change the text of mail being sent to candidate through correspondence activity. The text of attachment is getting copied to mail also.

Hello Monika,

Not sure if you have already figured that out. There are some standard cover letters which you can copy and make Z. Check the config step as specified by Andy and search with HRRCF_CS_COV* standard form.

Hi sarvesh,

I have created z cover letter by coping the standard HRRCF_CS_COV_APPL_INVITATION as ZHRRCF_CS_COV_APPL_INVITATIONand the assigned it to, the custom form for letter ZHRRCF_CS_MT_OFFER_CONTRACT as mentioned by Andy.....but still the same..
