Based on this KBA: https://me.sap.com/notes/2864897/E there seems to be no way of doing a duplicate lookup on claims submitted within the schedule with same attributes. My requirement is a real-time way to stop duplicate claims, at the point of submission (error message).
I have tried to write the relevant claim data in a custom MDF that has a valid-when association in the Benefit Claim object, but, the custom MDF cannot be selected in the 'Create' option under the Then block of the business rule. I'm only allowed to 'Create' composite object data. The intent was to use this standalone custom MDF as the look up table instead of the standard Claim Accumulation object.
Has anyone found a workaround on this that won't involve any integration?
