I'm building a People Story report to analyze recruiting metrics such as time to hire, time to fill, recruiting time, etc., using various date fields (e.g., requisition created, offer created/approved, application created). Attached is the query design.
When reporting on multi-vacancy requisitions, the table in the report displays candidates in multiple rows. For example, if a requisition has five positions and each is filled by a different candidate, the table lists each candidate for every position—resulting in 25 rows instead of 5 (each candidate appears multiple times).
Each candidate should appear in the report once, associated only with the specific position they have filled.
What could be causing these duplicate entries? How can I adjust my report or data join so that each candidate appears just once, matched to their filled position?
Request clarification before answering.
