Dual Goal Form vs only one Performance Form

Hi,

we have our standard yearly performance/goals form for FY23, and was wondering, on top of this, are we able to have another goal form (without a performance form / route map / ratings etc) just for tracking purposes.

Example, we have a group of people, that need to set up additional strategic goals, which wont be rated on like their standard performance form, however we want these people to be able to track completions and comments via Home > Goals.

So ideally they would go to home > Goals and see both goal forms there, however in the Performance area they will only see the one for the main plan (which does get routed, approved, rated etc).

Hopefully this makes sense. Any help would be great.

Greetings for the day.

This is very much possible to have two goal plans - one attached to the performance form and the other one as a stand alone. However, while you are doing this, please make sure that you assign the RBP correctly so that this additional goal plan is visible to the relevant group of people only.

Possible issue in such cases would be that, say there is a manager who is having access to the main goal plan for self and direct reports and the strategic goal plan only for self. Now from the goal plan plan page he switches to the strategic goal plan for self and then from the name selector he clicks on the name of the direct report, then the access to any goal plans will be blocked and can only be fixed by first assigning the permission to the goal plan and then revoking it.

Another issue would be that this additional goal plan will not link with the CPM module as we can only have goals from the default goal plan flowing into CPM.
