DRTM Compensation and Variable Pay Base Date

Dear Everyone,

Reaching out for help/assistance/guidance on this matter.
Business wants this requirement where Base Date of Retention time for DRTM Compensation/Variable Pay is differ from the standard Base Date. As you may know, the base date is the date from which retention times are calculated. For instance, if the Compensation/VP personal statement was created on 1st of May 2025 and configure retention time is 5 years then retention time for the statement would be five years after its created

Standard:
Object: Worksheet; Base Date: Completion Date

Object: Statements; Base Date: Statement creation date

this company supports multiple countries. these are some dates they wanted to use as base date

• Worksheet (Active Period) - must keep it for 5 years after reaching the applicable retirement age
• Worksheet (Inactive Period) - 10 years after termination
• Statements (Inactive Period) - 7 years post leave date (termination date)
• For the rest (Active Period) - they wanted to keep it while active/ No deletion while active, so I configured the retention time as 999 (year). Please advise if that would be fine

@everlynmf  Not an answer but checking if you have seen the presentation of this blog ? Not sure if it helps with the business requirement but I remember detailing the extent of what could be done within exiting tools relatively well in that presentation for a customer. Thanks
