We are developing a new course for which the final test will need some "scenario" type questions, in essence, short essay responses. We expect to hand-grade the scenario questions, of course. But we'd like to have all parts of the final test (the machine-gradable questions and the scenario questions) within the LMS. Can it be done? How?

Hello Betsy,
Assessments (exam and quizzes) do not allow to capture texts that can be evaluated after exam.
Usually we recommend Sap jam for this kind of activity.
Other option is to acquire questionmark that can be integrated with LMS.
And also you can propose this improvement for SF LMS.
Hope this can help,
-Gerardo

Hi! I'm bumping this. It's been a few years, and we need to look into what options we have to include "free-text" questions in our exams.
What would be the recommended way as of now?
What are some examples of how other clients have solved this?
For us, now, we use two different systems, which is not optimal. We need to move all exam related questions into SF LMS.
Thanks for any information!
