In SF Recruitment for the workflow tied to a job requisition we'd like to use (auto) delegation, is this available? And if so, where do we configure that?

thanks, Paul Reij

To some extent, it's possible but you need to have EC and time off implemented in the system. When there is a global assignment, termination, time off, long-term disability, or short-term disability, the requisition can be automatically transferred to another user. This setting is defined in the Recruiting Settings under Recruiting Subscriber Settings.

Thanks,
Sanjeet

Thank you Sanjeet! I did find Recruiting Subscriber Settings under Manage Recruiting Settings in our Prod environment, not in our UAT environment.
It seems I can assign in all cases to next level manager - would that be the next level manager of the roles indicated below? I.e. if assigned People & Culture person is unavailable, will it then be assigned to the manager of that PnC person?

And it will be only for the selected situation, e.g. approver is on time off?

Yes, it will be the immediate manager of that person. However, it will only work for a few scenarios, such as Time Off and the other one I mentioned in my previous post.

Thanks, that clarifies! It is limited but it is at least something. We'll explore further in test in our UAT, e.g. can we tie the autodelegation for the first level manager to next manager to take place after first level managers has been off for x numbers of days off and not immediately when first level manager is off.
