In my company project we usually create a compound documentation and everything worked fined. We created our template and all the settings were ok.
After a short break, we came back to the project and every time we generate the documentation the bookpage size is smaller... In the settings we can change the image width to be smaller but the problem is that we can only set the maximum width to 800 (even tough we write a higher value, it doesn't go as far as 800)
You can see in the following images:
a) When everything was ok

b) Now, its like this:

Can you please help us understand where we can sort this?
Thanks

Hi Tiago,
I tried to reproduce the behavior but was not successful. It might be an issue with the word template used, if you have a custom template.
Maybe try to delete the existing compound documents and create them all from scratch.
Please follow Dirks advice and open up an incident for this (component KM-WPB-PRO).
Take care,
Kristina

Hi Kristina,
We tried some solutions and we didn't solve it yet.
Here's our conclusions:
- On the settings of the coumpound document we lowew the value of the image width --> The image will get smaller. But if we increase, then it only allows the maximium of 580 (even if we write 1000 for example).
- We tried another landscape template (a blank one!) and the error still continues --> but, with Portrait it works fine! SO IT ONLY HAPPENS IN LANDSCAPE. Very weird.
Since i cannot open an incident, i already contact the person responsible to open a ticket for us, but she's on vacation... I guess we'll have to wait or hope that someone solves the problem in this question 🙂
Thanks,
Tiago
Hi Tiago,
ok, thanks for following up. I was able to reproduce it now thanks to your hint about the landscape layout. I have created an internal incident and have asked support to take a look. If you get the chance to have your contact person open an incident it would still be good.
But the issue is noted now and we will start to work on it asap. I will let you know here when I have new information.
Take care,
Kristina
I've noticed limits on the width of images as well, I'd suggest you open an Incident, as this doesn't seem right - especially if it is not how it used to work...
