Documentation Generation Issue

When generating documentation I get a Word/PowerPoint error:

• Microsoft PowerPoint initialization failed.
• Microsoft Word initialization failed.

Hi Dimitri,

for me it sound like a corrupt installation of Microsoft Office. The error message for a missing .pot or .dot templates its different. So I assume that is not related to missing resources on your local workarea. I would suggest you to create an incident message and work with our technical support team. They have more possibilities to help you out. For this please go to:

Hi Dimitri Roman,

I suffered from this issue many times. I would like to tell you three main reason for MS Word Initialization failed error.

a) No MS Word is uninstalled in your machine.
b) MS Word is not updated.
c) MS Word is not licensed.
Act accordingly based on the above.
Additional Tip: Sometimes updating OS helped me to overcome this issue.
