Do we create org structure in EC payroll ?

Hi Experts,

I have been involving in EC payroll implementation project . I am new to PTP replication process.my client has EC implemented. My doubt is , do we still create Org structure in EC payroll .

any links or documents would really help .

No you don't need.

You replicate positions and job via report RP_HRSFEC_JOB_POS_REPL.

Hi,

it depends. From a pure payroll process there is no need to build the OrgStructure with positions, organizational units in the ECP. Usually customers can live with the Personal-Areas, Personal-Subareas, Cost Center etc. If you have for example special requirements on workflows and approvals which you want / need to build on ECP than there could be a reason for that. But now after 4 years doing projects with EC & ECP no customer so far had the need to build OrgStructure (PPOME) on ECP. But again, it really depends on requirements
