Hello Experts,
Wanted to know what is the relevance of .DNT file in terms of Desktop Assistant..?
Is it used for both On-premise and cloud edition..?
At which level this file should be generated..?
Request clarification before answering.
Only used for on-premise solutions. For cloud you'll just use the Start Link for the DA Group (which will then require users to have the SEN Launcher 'installed'. Ideally, you'd want to distribute a .bat file that starts up when the user starts their PC, and that then opens the Start Link.

Hi Vaibhav,
just to complement Dirk's answer, you can find the detailed instructions about how to roll out the Desktop Assistant in these guides
Don't be confused by the mention of an .xdnt file in the cloud guide, this is only used if you want to put the Desktop Assistant content on a server which is not the Manager. For launching the DA from the Manager, you would use the link and ideally an auto start task as Dirk wrote.
Take care and please mark the question as answered if this helped.
