Hello All

I have some questions distrubution of HR master data between SPA HCM to SAP E-REC System

We are experiencing some job failures since long time when the data is pushed HCM -> E-REC system so i need some recommendations here

1) Any best practices followed to push the data from HCM -> E-REC in order example first push O, then S then P etc

2) Now if we push the Position (S) object will the IT105 with subtypes also get updates in the E-REC system  ?

3) If we only push P then only IT105, address infotypes gets updated in E-REC system.

4) Is the evaluation path SBESCX when i use for data push from HCM -> E-REC with Object as S then will all the data get pushed like IT105, Address, IT0001 etc ..

Cheers

Vijay

Dear Vijay,

All answers asume that e-recruiting is installed on a non ERP system.

1. Initial distribution of organizational structure and employee master data should be done by following the steps described in note 363187, but do never use transfer mode 'I' within transaction PFAL (report RHALEINI) as this will remove the position assignment from requisitions.

First you have to setup the distribtion scenario for message type HRMD_ABA as described in note 312090, 550055 and 934372 (if not done yet). Specific scenario settings for e-Recruiting are described in note 997181 (attachment).

2. I do not understand where is the relation between position data and communication data (infotype 0105) of employees.

3. What else you expect to get updated to the candidate (EREC) when distributing employee data?

4. The evaluation path can be used to specify the objects to be selected for distribution, but not any object details (infotypes of objects). Using evaluation paths may lead to multiple distribution of same objects which should be avoided.

After initial distribution of complete organizational structure and employee master data has been done successfully, changes in HCM system should be distributed from change pointers. This will minimize the data to be distributed.

Regards,

Michael
