Hi,

How to display customized workarea content in SAP Companion's Learning Center? Currently, it is displaying standard content.

You have two options:

  • Set learningAppBackendUrl to point to your Manager and set learningAppWorkspace to point to your Workarea (extended from the standard Workarea, if you also want to see standard content)
  • Set learningCenterUrl to point to a (entry-point) Group in your Workarea, if you want the Learning Center to use your Workarea structure (and not the default 'tiled' look)

Thanks for the reply Dirk. I saw your wiki page about the parameter learningAppWorkspace. Can you please explain how the parameter has to be set? Do I need to mention Workarea ID to the parameter or Workarea name to the parameter?

You specify the identifier (the thing in brackets on the Workareas/Tags screen, and used in the URL) - not the name - in the learningAppWorkspace parameter. The name can be changed, but the identifier is defined when you create the Workarea and can never be changed.

As a side note, DYK the Workarea name doers not need to be unique. And, it appears, neither does the identifier - because SAP Enable Now uses its own, internally-generated, technical ID for each Workarea. So be very careful with your identifiers - especially if you don't have visibility to all Workareas. (@SAP There should be a check/warning against creating a Workarea with the same identifier as an existing Workarea, no?)
