Disable LMS Notification for External Users

HI Mentors,

I am struggling with one scenario in SF LMS, so please advise me on this..

We have external users which would migrate in SF LMS system via user connector and they should notified with system generated password via using Password Notification Template. (Which is working)

Now let say by 10th Feb, external users were pushed into SF LMS via user connector, so on 10th Feb they should not get notified with Password Notification Template.

And Go live is on 4th March, so on 4th March only External users shall notified with system generated password via using Password Notification Template.

Any way, so I can stop system generated password notification template till 4th March..

Please advise..

If you need them to receive the email notification at all for their temporary password then you will not be able to load the external users prior to the "effective" date. The account creation itself is what triggers the email notification for the temporary password.

My recommendation would be to setup one of the other options, such as a blanket password, and then switch to the account creation triggered method after your "effective" date.
